US is much more than the people involved in the initial idea of building a “Truly American Made Motorcycle”. It’s about all the companies and people involved in the ultimate development of a machine that is “Totally Made in America”. From Design, Raw Steel and block Aluminum and Fastener procurement to the sourcing of American Made finished goods from rotors, calipers and wheels and controls, all made in America. To be clear these components are “Made in America”, not procured from American companies building parts abroad. To be chosen as a supplier, goods must be “Made in America” to be a part of our project.

Such a machine has not been available in America for almost 40 years. We want to change this and to defy the current accepted mental norm of foreign motorcycles having technical superiority through design and fabrication. Often American Made Components used on SAMCO motorcycles are used for the foreign high end factory race teams. Why? Because they are better, it is as simple as that!

This first motorcycle released by the SAMCO motorcycle brand is the V-1 Warbird. With influences from American military aircraft such as the P-51 Mustang revealing both the power and elegance melding industrial design to alloys of aluminum and chromoly. Like a P-51 Mustang, the SAMCO V-1 Warbird is a long range and single seated fighting machine that’s light, powerful and with 5 gallons of fuel capacity allowing plenty of time in the cockpit between stops. At 450 lbs. dry weight, 103 HP derived from an American made V-Twin with 84 ft. lbs. torque inside of a race proven bi-metallic trellis frame with American made suspension and braking is an impressive sight and an exhilarating ride. A hybrid stance that’s been consciously balanced between a GP racer and a factory motocross ride that is both aggressive, powerful and highly responsive. With its clean lines and minimalism each SAMCO V-1 Warbird is well thought out, engineered, designed, assembled and tuned meticulously to completion. Every SAMCO V-1 Warbird and its accessories are fully fitted (bespoke) and custom built for each moto pilot who acquires this rare and beautiful hand built Truly American Made Motorcycle.
